Dr Mithileysh Sathiyanarayanan, Founder & CEO of MIT Square, received CEO OF THE YEAR 2021 on National Entrepreneur Day (November 9th), in recognition of outstanding professional achievement and contribution in nation building. The Indian Achievers' Awards, India's most coveted award recognising achievements since 2000, is organised by the Indian Achievers' Forum, Government of India Recognised Organisation.

The prestigious award is among the top selected few from the respective field & region for Dr Mithileysh's outstanding contribution towards progress and development of Indian economy and society. The felicitation was virtual this time, giving due importance to social distancing.

MIT Square in association with Sri Sairam Engineering College, NSS, Raj Square Charity Foundation, Bangalore and Mangaladeepam, Chennai jointly facilitated a mega free eye camp at Nandanbakkam District, Chennai on the eve of the World Braille Day (Sunday, January 3, 2021).

Dr Mithileysh received his PhD from the City, University of London. Receiving a doctorate from the prestigious University of London is a proud moment for all of us, as the notable alumni of the University are the great leaders of India - Honourable Mahatma Gandhi (Father of the Nation - India) and Honourable Jawaharlal Nehru (First Prime Minister of India).

MIT Square in association with Younify launched Digital Campus Radio, that can be broadcasted to the world, at Sairam Engineering College Chennai, which is first of its kind in Tamilnadu. The event was launched on the Founder's Day (02 April 2021). 

Dr Mithileysh Sathiyanarayanan, Founder & CEO of MIT Square and Ms Bhuvaneshwari Loganathan, Co-founder of MIT Square were invited as Chief Guests.  

The other personalities invited were RJ Balaji (actor), RJ Rajmohan (actor), RJ Mirchi Shiva (actor) and RJ Aloysious. 

To celebrate International Worker's Month (01 May to 31st May), MIT Square in association with Sairam Engineering College organized INTERNSMELA 2021, an internship hiring process, in order to help students to get work experience during their study period. 

Our students were provided with this opportunity in reputed companies after evaluating their skills through an Aptitude test, Technical round, and personal interview.

MIT Square is the technology development partner collaborating with NIT Trichy and Sri Sairam Engineering College.  

Dr Mithileysh, our young Scientist, is the lead Principal Investigator of the Smart Ventilator Project. Also, the team is part of the 3D-printed face shields and hand sanitizers. The project is fully funded by the Ministry of Education (formerly called as Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD)), Government of India. 

Dr Mithileysh mentored three research projects and all the three articles were presented at the International Conference on "Impact of COVID-19 on Economy" on 16 June 2020. 

Article 1: "Importance of Automatic Sanitisers to Improve Health and Hygiene of Individuals During Pandemic". This article received BEST RESEARCH PAPER.

Article 2: "Importance of AI-powered Educational Platform to Improve the Education Sector During Pandemic".

Article 3: "Mobile UV-C Sanitizer: IoT Based UV-C Disinfecting Device to Sanitize Public Places".

Dr Mithileysh mentored ten research projects in the AICTE sponsored Entrepreneurship Development Cell & MHRD Institution Innovation Council on Business Plan Innovation Contest. 

Winners:  Gayathri, Ranjana and Khyathi won the FIRST PLACE and their project was "SPR Based Smart Corona Test Kit". This helped students achieve funding from NIT Trichy and full patent support of 1 Lakh. 

Dr Mithileysh played a massive role in mentoring students to develop innovative tools to tackle COVID-19. Students also worked with our charity trust, RAJ Square Charity Foundation, to create awareness on COVID pandemic and support people affected abominably.

Dr Mithileysh was instrumental in organising the event in collaboration with the professors and management of Sairam college. 

The theme of the app fest was "Applications to tackle post-pandemic effect and global recovery" to support Self-reliant India movement. 

The event was inaugurated on the 74th Independence Day on 15th August 2020 and the final App Crowning event concluded on National Engineer's Day, 15th September 2020.

St Joseph's Institute of Technology (SJIT), Chennai organised Virtual Coffee with CEO and the topic was "New Normal: Industry - Ready Skills for the Youth" on "International Youth Day" (August 12th).  The talk was delivered by Dr Mithileysh.
